Look what I got

Merry Christmas,
The Santa dude dropped off one of the prettiest morning's Ive seen here!! All for me. I knew I've been a good boy but I never expected anything this grand!!
Last night I was all hummm oh well may as well go to bed. My daughters at her mum's. But then in true boater fashion a friend went rowing by and we went over to MC's boat. http://raghaulers.blogspot.com/. It was a friend Adams Birthday so we all walked up to San Diego's oldest pub.http://www.waterfrontbarandgrill.com/ to Celebrate the Birth of both. None of us went off the deep end but had a lot of fun. Then as I'm crawling out of the dink another Boat buddy came by for a quick howdie and a tip. Finally safe on board I'm all crawling into my flannels to wait for Santa, and I get a call from a landlubber friend. " hey what ya doing how come your not here for the party?" I'm like what party? "the one we have every year ahole get over here" Im all "huh? shit! Bike downtown? in my pajamas?" "yea, Kitos get yer ass over here now!" I declined because I could tell they had reach the edge of the dock and where getting ready to go deep. has much as I'm bummed I missed them I'm stoked I feel great today. I'm sneaking up to the burbs and kidnapping my daughter tonight. After I totally fill myself on Grandma's cooking. I was invited so I'm going! but first I have to scrub this little tub up for company. We will probably sail tomorrow and pull into Captain Morgans port in the afternoon. I can't wait. I love spending time with Ashy. She's a free spirit just like her Pop.

Christmas Party

Last night I was invited to a Hoboater Christmas Party. One of the gals here has a boat and a house. And she invited a few of us over for drinks and food. Very nice indeed. It has been over a month or so since I've been in a HOUSE. And maybe longer for some of the others. Yes, switch's that made light, another one that made heat. Ceilings you can't touch, a strange box in one of the rooms with cold stuff in it another made things hot. The same room had a bucket in the counter with a knob that produced hot water. And big doors, lots of em. There was another room that had a bucket and a lever on the side that made the water swirl around and disappear, then new water came back in. It had these things on the wall that had some dude living in it, he scared me. She also had a hole in the wall that had fire in it. One room had a cot big enough to put 5 people in it. This house had huge hatches with screens. It even had a mini house attached to the back with a bunch of stuff in it. I think we where a bit over whelmed. Because we all ended up hanging outside an awful lot. Boaters, go figure.
It's the simple things we some times take for granted.
Merry Christmas !!

Diego style

Most of you know how to stay warm. This is how I do it. Besides the blood thinner. Propane heater 25 dalla. 2.95 a can. I don't turn it on unless things start turning blue.
Candles, amazing how they cut the chill. Slippy's and flannel. Put them all together and your one toastie, happy guy. Tricks to liven aboard.
Yes we draw on the carpet here. Why knot?

Just because Im bored

I'm still bouncing around and well.... Kinda bored. To tell you the truth the last 2 hours where great!! My daughters in town !! (power arm thingy). She was kidnapped and that's cool. It kinda sucks out here tonight anyway. He res another whooopie.. 15 knot shot of this morning. Sure wish I had camera battery's last week. Now that would have made Whooweeetube. And if you don't own rubber bottomed slippers your a weirdo. I left Jenny running while I biked to the airport. Yea I worried a bit. But all was well when I returned and now I don't have to listen to it. To risky? What do you think? On an other note maybe someone can tell me how to tag with out dragging up all the old shit. Whats with that huh? FBI CIA ? Are they watching? Neener neener if they are. Bet they wish they was me. Opps spilled again. Damn 15 knots

15 knots

It's only blowing 15 out, It feels like Im moving 5 knots. But nope I'm just tring to make coffee. Some times this is a real pain in the ol hole e o. Braa haha

Dec.21

Dec 21<>
Yesterday wasn't such a good day here in Diego, We had the X-mas parade of lights. A parade of boats all done up with their Christmas finery on. Beautiful indeed. Unfortunately a small boat was hit but a Coast Guard cutter. An 8 year old boy was killed and 6 others hurt. What a shame and my thoughts go out to all involved. http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/2009/dec/20/Child-dies-crash-SD-Bay-Xmas-parade/

It sure puts a damper on the water crew when bad things happen to good boaters.

Life as a guy

I keep up on a few blogs. I see post about food. Nice! love food. Can anyone tell me why guys can,t cook or dont think about cooking? I mean besides sex why are we here? All the yummy things in life right? So here's my dinner. Keep in mind, Clean up on a boat sucks. Here ya go food porn for the single guy.

Boil water add some stuff. Let simmer till kinda tender, add some more stuff, season to taste. Drag pot to table and eat.Easy huh?

Evening thought. Cheesie I know

So today after telling everyone how wonderful life is and get off your ass and enjoy it. And Bla Bla Bla. I figured I best put my money (penny's) where my mouth is. So I figured I'd go biking and see some sights. Well Burningman kinda did the ole 40 dalla bike in. First it was the wheel bearings, then the peddles wore right off. Well one of em anyway. Like I was just going in circles. Whoooa Hang on Biiiiiiiiiig Swellllllllls !!!! Wheeew nothing broke !! Ok where was I ? O yea the sunshiny hap hap happy day stuff.

Oh yea Bike So I'm thinking shitz I'm bumming I need a bike that will work and no one wants to steal. It's gota be just the right bike for just the right price. Like say, free! So Im dinking in the morning and a baybor friend of mine asks if I'd like to varnish her gunnel's. Hummm.. that sounds nasty. So I said heck yea. made 40! Went to swap meet bought a (last week) 65 dalla bike for 35!! And it's a real size fold in half kind with (most important) a shitty paint job !!! Perfect!! All I have to do is swap my Mary Poppins baskets and I'm in fat city. Did I mention it even has gears? I don't know how to use them yet but they tell me I can get to the store at warp speed now. And I still have 5 dolla's for some McChilliebobs, What a swell day!!

Here's a pic of one of my fav Baybors boat. Not only do I get to varnish I get to sail it too!!

All smiles here today.

Morning thought

Last week I was being blown all over and freezing (San Diego style) my ass of. Yesterday we where sailing in shorts and tee shirts again. On the downwind slide it was "hot". Even though San Diego is out of control expensive, it is worth it. And as we are learning the ways to get around all those San Diego cost it's working out even better.

It's amazing to see the change that is taking place here. A year or two ago you wouldn't or couldn't be seen in a car that was over 5 years old. The "auto spa's" where brimming with fresh new cars with owners sipping lattes. I'm seeing a really neat trend, older cars some even with scratches and dents. I mean really what do you need? It used to drive me up the freakin wall to see some folks parading around like they wear some kind of Shiek ala Stucco Palace. When ya knew damn well they where just maxed on credit cards and home equity loans.

I think this little resection thing is just what the doctor ordered. Get us back to whats important. It's not the flash of the past it's going out and enjoying some fresh air (free) some gentle breeze (free) some beautiful views (free) some good friend ship's (also free) and a few cold beers (huh well)

I'm not saying everyone needs to live in a little boat and ride a beater bike. Hey if going fast is your thing score a race car If climbing rocks in Zimbabwe is it by all means, go for it. Watching the telly sipping a latte is your gig by god go for it !! But do it cause that's what gives you wood and keeps you happy while on this planet ride. Don't do it for the flash or cause the Jones do it. And if at all possible stay out from under the thumbs of the banks and politicians. Because they will take your freedom. And we all know, no freedom = no wood.

Now go out there and do what makes you smile.

Just had to

I Just had to share these. Life is very good.

I saw this guy!!

Here's a vid a friend threw my way. Ha's.. Can you imagine running down for the party's last 6'er and doing that? I think your done dude but thanks for the show. "Dude ? Should we call 911 ?" "Nah man just get the shovel"

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Oh yea

Here's a pic of our nemesis. These chicks can sail. If they are not on our ass we are on theirs. Makes for good clean fun. Bitch's!!!
Also I did some bright work today on "On Point" wish I had a pic of that as the sun was going down.
Note to self get camera battery's.
Also the kids coming to town !!!! Whoooo whooo I miss that lill gypsy.

CNN called

Seams the mass's have been missing my blogin.
So this is what's been going on. Humm not much really.... That work, ya know the big one? Well I guess the guy's wife file'd for divorce. So yea that's where that's at. In the mean time......I've been sailing and working on boats. Bummer huh? Beer and burrito money. When it comes down to it that's all you really need anyway so yea it's all good. Here's a few pics of Windley. Brother #2's boat. I say Brother # 2 cause he was born behind me and the other brother behind him than my sister. But that's another sailing story all it's own. They are all # 1's in my boat. These pics are from the Rum runners race. And the others are your's truly painting the inside of the Hans. Man I'd love to jump that boat and , well leave. Ha

Diego Burst

Been awhile, Tring to set up the ducket machine. In the mean time we had some really cool ass weather. Well I say that now. In my last post it was like whoooa!! This last Storm that rolled thru on Monday was like WHOOOAAA HOLLEY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT ?
I mean I'm so freakin glad I wasn't hanging on an anchor !! 4 boats drug out of the cruiser's anchorage and a 52 footer busted the mooring line here. I've heard tales of 45 to 120!!! knots. I'm holding to 60 - 80. It was blowing good. On my way in the next morning I counted 6 sunk dingy's the same ones I saw flying like kites the day before. A freind lost all his boat cleaning stuff and Mother Culture lost their wind genny.
On the Saturday prior My brother and I raced the Half pint rum regatta. You have to take off from anchor. Making it super fun cause you have to dodge the next fleet, get the anchor up and set sail all at the same time. I got an E mail from him saying we won!! Whoo whoo! where's my rum??!! I dig sailing his boat....oh wait a minute I don't think Ive ever blogged on my other brothers boat. It's a 1935 Lauder's L-16. He rebuilt it and has been having a blast bay sailing it and stacking up the trophy's. I can't believe I don't have a pic of it on my Lappy. You'll just have to trust me it's fun!!
In other news I guess we are supposed to have a real soaker come in for 3 days of 89% rain. Trust me again. That's a lot of rain for San Diego. Shit we don't know what rain is. So when it does come we make the Media go fruckin wild.
The last storm I ran a friend out to her boat we got drenched and swapped. I dropped her off then kept her dink tied to my boat for the night. There was no way in hell I was going back out in that stuff. But I also was out of food, beer, rum and smokes. Not this time my friends. I have set myself up nice and tidy. The lockers are full!! I'm ready for 40 days and 40 nights!! Shit I live on a boat bring it on!!
(I'm Kidden) Just in case Mother Nature reads blogs in her spare time.
But just watch it will be someone leaving the sprinklers on to long that makes this the mother of all storms!!! This my friends is ....San Diego... The "Whales Virgina"
I even went to the Library and got "Sailortown" by Stan Hugill
Sometimes I wonder if it's really sailing or the life style...or both ? Something to ponder for sure.

Whooa

Strap down the tiller Ahab a cold wind is gona bloooow.
Two days ago I was sailing with in shorts and no shirt. Today Im a little leery of dinking to shore just yet. It's blowing about 25 with whitecaps in the moorings. I just watched my baybor and her kids heading to shore with Junior motoring and mom pumping. Then watch as another was rowing sideways. I love it! Last night I was up every couple hours rolling around and listening to the wind in the rigging. I'm glad I'm not at anchor you know what that's like even if you've been sitting on it for a week. Up every 20 minutes "whats that?".
I'm on the ball one that will handle a 30 ton boat. I weigh in at a whooping 2. I think I'm safe. Lill Libby just kinda dancing around like a kite on a string.
And yea I spilled the Miss all over. It's worth it she keeps me warm on these cold and windy nights.

Thanks!!

I woke this morning. Going SHIT!! Man I need some work ...what day is it?? Shit I gotta get off this boat!! Then it dawned on me it's Thanks Giving day. Here in the Ole USA we all get together with family and Friends to thank each other for all the good stuff in our lives.
So I laid back down and relaxed and thought about it a bit.
I'm the luckiest man alive!! I mean come on !! Ive raised a good kid. Iv'e had the best wife. I have the coolest brothers and sister. Parents that taught me how to be independent. Some really great friends. I have done heaps of crazy things and I'm still alive and not in jail. I have 6 eggs and a bag of bagels. Life is good!!
Yesterday I fixed my halyards and went for a bay sail. One brother was following me out in his boat. The other was heading back in on his! I mean come on !! How cool is that!! I wouldn't have been surprised if my sister and her family came sailing by either.
I mean this morning there is no dew on my dink that means no wet butt today. G's all I have to do is look around. I should be this thankful every day!!
Peace everyone, Happy give thanks day

Damn !!

I had it all figured out.
The cure for the common cold, World Peas, The end to our economic dump and away to keep mayonnaise with out refrigeration. All so important to humans as a whole. Then the inverter started beeping and "POOF" that was it, all gone, done, no one can help us now. I think I need to get back to my roots and start making good old fashioned paper notes again. Oooo the humanity!

I'm a nerd?

OMG I realized I'm a NERD!
Yesterday I got a New "library card" and was actually excited.
I've been sneaking over to Boarders Books and paying full price well on sail full price for way to many books. I'd do this with a disguise on, of course because I have to remain the super cool sailor dude. I think the gangs on to me. At least 4 books a week. So many I can't even remeber the names. This is bad cause when I go to get more I don't remember if I read them or not. Till I get back and go awww fu~k.
It's bad, relay bad kind of like being a junkie. My friends are worried I can tell.
"Hey dude what ya doing?"
"Huh....I'm huh...cleaning my huh foredeck"
"Lets party later ok?"
"Yea I'll give ya a call when I'm done"
"Hey dude what's up the bongs warm and the beers are cold ya coming over?"
"Huh..I gota put this...huh stuff away I'll call ya"
"Duuuude are you reading again"
"Huh ...Noooo....I'm huh....(head down yea) yea."
"Duuuude your brains gona explode dude"
"Yea I'm know ... I need help."
So I make another Swiss Miss and Sailor Jerry's and return to my addiction.
I even turned down a sail Yesterday. Glad I did cause I see this morning their not back yet and I didn't want to do an all nighter. I...huh...got stuff to do.
Acutely it's the boating life that spawns the reading habit. Sailing is well kind of laid back. Well very laid back at least when I'm sailing it is. During runs you get plenty of down time as long as the weathers good and auto's working. Naturally reading works in really well. A cove, a book, a cocktail, what could be finer?
Alas now I'm doomed I have a Library card. And this San Diego Lidrary is like none I've ever seen 3 storys of books. I almost fell over in glee. Free books? What a concept!!.
I wonder if in my other life I wasted this much free time watching the Telly?
Work, telly, bed, work, telly, bed? Humm?
I was thinking of taking up another Hobie. Another cheep hobbie so I can still save some dough. Who am I kidding it'll take months to read all those books I'll worry about it when I'm done.
Life is fruckin good when this is your biggest problem.
Cheers!

Idle hands

I was sitting here wondering if I could find movies on this thing. Sure enough all I had to do was goggle movies. I found this site and was lke cool..a flick tonight....Power arm thingy. I'm all riiiight lets see .. hummmm something about the earth dieing..nah, to final, Ahhh Clint Eastwood can't go wrong there!! I just wana chill watch a flick and hit the sack. But wait !! It might take three days to watch this movie. Kinda slow downloading here I guess. So I'm all looking for a super low depth kinda movie maybe cartoons? Even family guy was all slow and staggered.
So I go looking again yea !!! Ninja flick!!! The lowest of the low budget. I'm thinking yea!! I think the old duck tape PC can handle this one !! Yea right. I check out the reviews while I wait for the "movie". And this is what I found.

Hitting women is not only ok but funny
Swinging nunchucks is cool, no matter how silly an expression you make.
Murder is ok as long as you're a ninja
Bar fights are not only ok, they're encouraged
Ripping off prosthetic limbs is just like ripping off a real limb (bloody)
If you're told to drop it or you're a dead man, you have exactly .5 secs to do so
You can here tendons ripping
Sleeping with your best friends wife the same night he tells you he's suffering from ED is perfectly fine
Need a ninja? Just go to a casting agency in japan, they'll find you a ninja
Guards wear clothing that is exactly the right size
Evil ninjas giggle when they fight women
Ninjas sometimes forget how to throw shuriken straight
Ninjas like to make weird sounds while they burn homes
Even driving a jeep in broad daylight, no one will notice if you're wearing your ninja garb
Good ninjas kill more people than the bad guys
This movie is definitely good for a laugh

I don't know about the movie but the review made it all worth while.

And yea I think I'm gona just run along to bed.

Yes I went up and mucked and su~ked. Bought some deoderent, put shoes on and fell right back into the old days. I think it went well. I still need some price's from a few more subcontrators. I know it will take time and thats fine, just have to keep pushing. All looks good so far though. Thanks for the support. I took some pics but they suck. So here's a pic of our Holloween mask Adam and I made. He was the man in the moon. The pic of my mask sucked to soooo here's a fuzy pic of the place I'll be living once we get this contract. As you can tell I know it's all gona work out. Allways has all ways will. Wierd huh?
Nice to be back with the boater folks tonight. Played music, even brought out my drum (that I suck at) But nice to be back. Boater's just seam to have a different out look. I like it

Hut oh suit's

Today I have to meet with some folks that wear suit's. It's all about my "Master plan" That's the one I make enough $ to mess around again. Long pants. check clean shirt hum....check.. Shoe's..aaa....check. Hut oh !!! where's my pit gooo? I can't meet these guys smelling like a bilge water vacation.. shit Looks like a stop at CVS.
The soap tooth brush and all that stuff is always around cause I never know when I might be able to pop a free shower. And I do like to stay some what clean. But I don't really like putting goop under my pit's unless I'm meeting suit's or a new girl I don't want to run off. I don't want to jinx anything but wish me luck. It's time to be running around again.

Weekend work?

Needing a few ducket's I painted a friends interior on her Hens Christen 38. Yes this is the boat of choice for this boy. But I'm afraid I'd have to work my life away to pay for one. Anyway even though they are built like a brick shit house. They are lacking in the view department. Meaning you can't really see out. What trip tyring to tap and cut in edges with out some kind of grounding. Even the littlest rolls became huge. All day long focusing on clean lines while being rolled around. Sheesh what a pain in the head and butt from bouncing off things with out getting paint all over.

In other news hit down town San Diego for the annual Fredrick's of Hollywood parade Halloween. OMG! If your a young man or an old man. Ride your bike down make a cheater rum and coke and just watch. San Diego is known for some beautiful women. Dress them up as maids wenches and nurse's and you get a pretty nice show.

A mate and I just went from corner to corner. Gawking like school boy's. It's not perving it's " NATURAL"

Just thought I'd share this ...one of my happiest days. But now I wonder.

flock of ha ha's

I rode the old bike up to my brothers place today in Point Loma. Had a great Red sails breakfast then paddled our bike's down to Shelter Island for the Baja Ha Kick off. WOW!! that was great to see all those folks and their boats heading off to adventures unknown. 200 boats all pilled up at Shelter Island. Fruckin beautiful. Every one of them looking forward to the unknown. And what a day it was . No wind but all those stoked people leaving this all behind. Brought a tear to my eye. Ive never done the Ha ha. Ive always just kind sailed willey nilley. It would be cool to have that many friends sailing along with you. My brother took pics some day I might get copy's I'll share them. When they come in.

Flock of minnow's

I've been hanging low and going slow this week. Have a new and rather large job we are looking at. So in the mean time, I figure lay low go slow cause ya never know. Oops I'm a poet. Any way Ive just been riding the bike did a harbor sail cleaned the dink ...again. Oh yea kinda sold, gave, away the little Sabby to Super Kid. In the mean time I have an aquarium in my back yard. Not that I really have a back yard. But I do have a bit of water so I thought I'd make friends with the sea life. I cleaned off my everything bagel crumbs off only to see the minnow's going freaking nuts. Neat ! So I grabbed some bread and whoaa those little suckers must be starved cause they went crazy. DO NOT FALL ASLEEP IN THE WATER HERE. So like any curious boat guy would do I chucked in a whole bread slice. OMG!!! They where all over it! Some of them even jumped up on top of the thing!! Not good if you don't want to get eaten by seagulls. Shit I spent at least 2 hours feeding those crazy little piranha's. You have to get it right. Press the air out so it sinks a bit bellow the surface so the gulls don't grab and go. Throw it up current so you can still watch and keep your hand and fingers inside the ride at all times. Now when I go on deck it's like I have a zillion little puppy dogs looking up at me wanting their treat's. I feel like King Neptune only not as fishy. Oh yea and where there is little fish there is big fish. Sure as hell the big guys showed up. My little troop of killer minnow's could have cared less they just kept charging. So they lost a few amigos they where mighty crumb eating warriors. I feel safe knowing I have a flock of killer crumb eating piranhas living under me.I'm so proud!!

So yea I need to get a life. What did you do today?

My Heros

The Coasties have their base right next to us. I love those guys. Luckily I have never needed them. Yet. Knock on wood. Those guys do amazing work saving so many folks with out much fan fair. Well here at the ole allcsyachtclub think they are the BEST!. And we get to watch them practice sometimes too. The copper pilots are just freakin Gnarly! They will hover and let guys jump out then blast away circle around and hover straight on top of them. I have know idea how they can hold that big ass chunk of metal in the air like that. Then some times guys will be all hanging from rope ladders dangling from the chopper sheesh talk about control. I'm stoked those boys are around because I know if I ever need them they will be there.

In San Diego we have the Navy, more hero's. Although I only get to see them from across they bay and watch as they leave for deployment. Off to some foreign sea to protect the waters from what ever. Sometimes you'll see what I think are Navy seal guys swimming around the mooring field at night all sneaky and stuff. I think they are pretending to be planting bombs on the bottom of our boats or some thing. But it it's amazing and sooo stealthy!!

We also have homeland security and customs. They scare the shit out of me. Not that I'm doing anything wrong they are just some freaking scary guys !!! Fast boats, big guns, ski masks freakin scary. I'm glad they are on our side.

Last but not least is the San Diego Harbor patrol. I've met a few of them. Sure they are a bit uptight. I would be to having to deal with people the likes of me all the time. I'd be all G's Us what fuckin now?

Yea we have it all here in San Diego. Very intimidating if your a little boater guy just sailing around. But if your a smuggler, terrorist or just some AholieO your doomed !!!

Bumps in the night

One would think being on a boat at night, that silence is a big no, HUGE part of it. And one normally would be right. Ive been in deserted coves in Mexico where I could actually hear the barnacles feeding on the bottom paint and my beard growing. Boats are alive. Yes I know that sounds scary but it's true. A little crrrrreeeeek whoop here and a ding ding click there. A little olive oil here and a few well places shim's there and you get , for the most part your boat to hush up a bit. Unless the winds blowing over 10 knots then forget it. She'll come alive again with halyards slapping, canvas shaking and that ever romantic slapping of the hull. I like those sounds actually love em makes for great sleeping.

Last night I had a dream we where being attacked. It was calm as calm can be. Look it up in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of Liddy sitting in such calmness. Yet when it's that calm there is no strain at all on anything. Whooomp!! The mooring balls bouncing off the bow. Thud thud........thhuud. The dingys bouncing off the stern. And na it's not a mellow trance reggae beat it's completely random. Like they have a spy on board......

"Ready?"

"Nah he's still up"

"Ok let me know"

"Should we do the dink or the ball first"

"Lets start with the dink then build to the ball"

"Yea man that'll get him up"

"Sheesss he's crawlin into the bunk, get ready"

Thump...thuuump...thumpthump

"The ball ?"

"Nah hit him with the dink again"

Thuudthump.....thuuuump...tapthump"

"Hahaha hahaaha now the bow! "

WOOOOMP WHOOOOMP Woomp"

"HAhahaHAHHAAH that got him"

"Sheeessh he's coming"

....silence......

"Ready?

"Wait for it...wait for it..... ok the bow"

Whooomp...whooomp..whoooaoomp.

"HahHAAHAA I could do this all night!"

" Yea HahahHAH hey maybe we should call Mani see if he wants to creak the tiller?"

And that my friends was the gentle sounds of my night last night. Except for the part where I tripped over the computers cord on my way out to catch those guys.

Im a swinger

Summer's coming to an end and well the waters become a bit livelier. When you live on the hook or mooring as I am now the view changes every second. One minute your looking at one boat then your looking at a different boat, then the wall ,then this, then that. It's neat, I like it. This morning I woke to a constant roll and swing. It's not gnarly out just alive the winds been going all night so the sea's in the harbor are moving quite well. Like I have to hold on to my coffee pot.

A few days ago all the animals jumped ship. I think it was the earthquake or the tsunami. In any event I saved a little pup that had bailed from it's boat. The owners brought me a bottle of Sailor Jerry's as a reward. That was nice of them even though anyone of us would have done the same thing. I mean who's gonna just dink past a drowning dog and not give him a hand?

So last night I got into it a bit, then some friends called and we got into even deeper. That may explain this swinging feeling I'm now having.
Some tiimes the night before explains the here and now!

Holding pattern

I've been back for a ....... Hell I don't really know.. maybe I should get a calender. Anyways been back for a weekend or two. Not that makes much of a difference anyway. So I've been just getting a little more in touch with San Diego. Like biking all over the place till your ass is screaming!! Some call it Baboon butt. Hey I like checking out all the old world San Diego and it's worth it. From what I have read this used to be a wild and willey world!! Oh and they thought they cleaned it up !... ha I say.. they should look subculture, there is a lot going on that doesn't meet the eye. Like tonight there's a tsunami coming, that should be fun. Crazy sitting out here knowing there might be a huge wave coming to get ya. No worries though......... I think it's over here anyway..nothing gnarly in the anchorage. Thanks King Neptune !

In other news ....... I'm in a holding pattern. Ya know like "Oh yea we want you to..." Then you give a price and then get the ole..."We want you to...but.." So by the phone I sit. Sheesh, darn duh nar roe.

There's a fun event coming up and I have to sail tomorrow or forget it. So I'm sitting here trying to decide sail or hang for the bucks. Sailing "with" bucks is a lot better, just not looking like it's gonna happen.

Another coin toss, thank goodness it's that easy.

Here's a pic of a crazy ass space ship thing they blew up at burning man. My eyebrow's are just coming back in

Still messin

After all this fun. It looks like I need to grab a few bucks. I threw all my hooks out and have caught the attention of a few job leads. The neatest one being a sail run down to the GYRE. That's a huge floating trash pile in the Pacific. That would be a neat job. Oooor make real money and build some stuff. Either way I need to fill the purse again. The construction jobs will fill it a lot faster but I'd rather pay some bills with and adventure. So we'll see.

For your viewing pleasure here is a pic of the Burning man from space big huh?

Just Cant stop messn about

Well lets see, It has been soooo long and sooo much cool stuff has happened. I ran around The mountains. That was great there aren't any trees here on the pond. I even saw fresh water!! That was also a treat. Then headed to the desert for some fun and dust. And that's what I got lots of both. If you have a bucket list, make sure you put the Burningman gathering on it. I'd dump skydiving or swimming with sharks. This is much safer and a whole lota fun. I made friendships that I'm sure will last a lifetime and memory's that will not soon be forgotten. It's humm kinda like 50000 survivors living in tents and partying like there is no tomorrow. However it can't really be described here. It needs to be witnessed first hand. So go ahead grab some food pack the tent be prepare to get dirty and have the time of your live. burningman.com

And as a cool down I ran back to the tree's Aaaaaaa yeah what a dream this last month has been.
