I'll keep ya posted cause if it does work out these post sre going to get a whole lot better !!!

A couple more from yesterday. The storm hit with full glory last night and it's still pounding. So I thought I'd put up some more pics from yesterday. I'm not a big fan of surfing the pier but taking pics there is fun. Some day I'll get a real big giant mega large 4' lens kinda camera. The kind that needs wheels. The kind I can sit at my house and take pics.........nah it's better at the beach. Click to make bigger it might be you !

La ti da

Still stuck looking for bucks, They shut the construction vault door, so I've got way to much time on my hands. And every one knows idle hands are the devils work shop. Soooo i went down to my friends boat. Tied to the "Wall" in San Diego. They call it Laurel Street moorings I call it ripp off ave. I've stayed here a few times moving up and down the coast. The last time I was there some folks liked my bike so they took it. The next day they really thought my tools where neat so they took them too. So glad I can help my fellow man. But.... this place has THE best view of the San Diego Harbor!! It is beautiful and not to rolly. If you get stuck mooring near the Coronado Bridge be careful when the tugs go by it's mast to mast mayhem. roll you right out of your bunk. My boats registered in San Diego so they wont let me anchor in the 72 hour anchorage. I've snuck in a few times but always seam to get caught. The Harbor police are on they're A game. Unless some one is stealing your stuff.

My friend and I got to go see WAKE ON WATER at the ROCK church it was great and a great movie with some of my surfing heroes there. It turned out to be a neat evening. Tom Curren's band played a few songs and the rest of the guys said a few words. The movie is about kids that surf it's so cool to see how stoked they are. Not all tied up in the dough just rippen waves like mother ocean planned them to be.

On another note I have pretty much cleaned out my shelves at this place I call home. Hoping one day to be able to take off. I was looking around the garage (I still need to have my tools) and was amazed at how much junk I can acquire. I have Two giant chainsaws I stole when I lived in up in Humboldt county tring to save the Redwoods. What the heck am I hanging on to these for? They hung in a bar for 5 years in Mammoth but now have returned to me. Looks like landfill cause no one needs 4' long nonworking chain saws in San Diego. They don't even have a loggers kinda bar here.

Then there is the way old skate board it's cool even has the sticker teaching you how to skate on it. But really what good is it doing hanging in the a garage I'm trying to clean out? I put it on Ebay for One Million dollars or best offer. We will see where that goes.

My surf buddy form years back bought his very first home. So today Im going to help him extend his deck (that's what i do) about 100 s.f.. That'll be fun, we better work fast cause if I know this guy we'll be having more fun then work and I need to finish it before the weekends out.

Yeup looks like a good weekend in front of me hope it's all good with the rest of humanity.

Darn

Well the boys of San Diego did'nt make it. OOOO They tried man did they try. Im proud to be called a San Diegoean. It was great to see those broken up guys work they'r ares off and not just give up. I wouldn't even go out side if it was that cold to begin with. This bloggers hats off to the boys in blue and gold.

On another note what a bitch'n weekend here. Tons of food and drink watching all those cold ass folks from the other side of the country. The beacj was unreal went tide pooling at low tide Sat. and Sunday morning. Popped in the tunes and had great time. Surf was tiny and numbing.

Back South Yea!!

Headed down to see Libby and get her ready to come back up to the states. Seeing I'm working so much it makes sense to have her where I can play with her. Poor thing stuck down south with no love. That'll make a boat old in no time.

No Shiit

I awoke yesterday and read some of the blogs from around the world. It's a huge place and folks are getting out and diggin it. I was drawn into a bit of depression seeing as I was still just sitting here reading other peoples lives. I've been around and done some crazy travels of my own and I'm NOT done. As I headed out to try and gain a few peso's for the day I kept thinking how this is the shiit's!!. Trying to get ahead in a very expensive place is almost impossible, all Im doing is making money to just stay alive in a place I no longer really want to be. It was getting bad I was really getting down on myself. THIS IS THE SHIITS I kept saying over and over. When out of no where a power greater then myself drops a case of poo wipes all over the freeway !!! I guess we always get what we really need. I couldn't help laughing at the irony of the whole thing. My day turned out much better after I got over myself and just let it flow. It'll all come together it always does. Just keep marching little soldier and it will all work out.

Hey it rained

Yeup it came alright, A good soaking in SD. maybe next year we won't burn !!

remember all the stuff on the street ends up in our play ground, so lets keep it clean.

It came

The weather guys where right. San Diego is still here but VERY well watered. I have a bit of dirt behind my place and now it's a pond. Wish I could record all the frogs that are hanging out in there. It's like an Alfred Hitchcock movie. "THE FROGS" ewwww!! Anyoll way yeup it rained and is still raining. The wind blew down some fences I get to repair and there's a road that will be unusable for a few days. I need to get a pic of that land. It's for sale cheep lake frontage every winter. The Ocean once again is gutter soup so I think I'll save my ears eye's and throut for another cleaner day.

Hitt the San Diego boat show yeaturday. Figures I wore socks for the first time all year. We hadd to remove our shoes to go on board the DREAM BOATS and the docks where wet sooo I figured I could nt buy one so why go on one. The inside of the show had all the goodies you'd ever need and a whole lot more stuff you'd never need. Boats are like chicks, they need a lot of stuff.

Prerain 2

This is Northern san Diego before "THE BIG ONE ". I love the way the media builds up a bit of rain here in So Cal. Ya'd think everybody needs sand bags and an acrh. It's probably a good idea that way all the crazy drivers can get ready. Anyole way this is a few pics of the beach today. The schooner is heading to Oceanside. Killer pic if I do say so ma bad ass ole self.

Prerain

Another day to rip up. Looks like surfing might be out, There's a storm coming. The news is showing Vessel Assist running around the San Diego Moorings getting ready for the BIG ONE.

I've hardly seen the San Diego Bay go to nuts but I guess there's always a first time. Think I'll run down and check on some friends boats, check the chaffing gear and stuff. A few are still on holiday and out of town.

Nice way to start 08

Well 08 started yestarday and what a beutifull one it was. Clear warm offshore breeze's. Man I like the Santa Anna's as long as no one starts playing with matches. One of the niebores threw out some speakers so I remade the boxes and fit them in El Yeep. Ya can hear me coming from miles away now. They should ROCK the BOARDER. That whould make a great name for a song.
I like Cardiff reef theres a great wave with TONS of nice people. If ya want a bunch of waves go some where else. If you enjoy BSing with other beach folks this is the place to be. Alot like Sano.
