From Dread to Red

Last night a few of us went to a Reggae show it was greeeeeeeeeeatatat. I miss the boom boom hearth thump that music makes. I lived in Humbolt county for 10 years and that's the music that kinda runs there. I have been a big fan of reggae for years my ipod is full of it. But a few months ago a friend turned me onto .....country?...... I never thought that would ever happen. Ha But I 'm kinda digging it. Talk about easy music to understand. It's no longer just crying in you beer stuff. It's kinda cool. There is going to be a cheep concert next week. I think I may even go. Nah I'm not gona trade in my surf trunks or flip flops for a funny hat and a HUGE belt buckle. But I think I'm still going. There is a plus I've noticed......the chicks dig it ........ Ha yesir. My Daughter bought a one way ticket outa town . She's a wanderer like her pop. I'm sad to see her go bestest friend and all but there is a huge world out there and if you dont get on it it will pass you by. God Speed my baby girl !!!!

Hut oh

I woke up yesturday and I was 50 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Holly shit how the f%&k did that happen?
Im not complaining but it did kinda freak me out. Soooo I drank like a teenager and sailed and rode my bike and bs's with my daughter. Im glad Im fifty it sure beats being .... well you know. 51 !!!! yea baby yea !!!

Beer cans

We did the Cortez Beer can race Wensday. Great wind lots of boats and well beer !!
We took first in our class and maybe better in the over all. I'm not sure I was in the beer line when they called out the results. Got a cool Mount gay rum hat witch makes no cents cause it's a beer can race not a rum bottle race. No matter it was fun. It's neat when all the boats are all bunched up and 3 inches away. What a rush !!! As much as I don't realy like racing it sure makes a better sailer out of you.

work work work play work work work

Still no camera, yet been working like a dog (woof). So you ask why no camera? Well I'm donating all my extra money to the fuel producing country's. Ya know just doing my part to keep the world a better place. Nah just kiddin they are getting plenty but to tell the truth. Being in construction in San Diego is kind of like living in a third world country with first class golf coarses and first rate marina's. The folks here are feeling the pinch and aren't/can't take money out on thier homes for improvements or new construction. Leaving only the smallest of trade work. Witch in turn means more guys bidding on little jobs for less money. Kind of funny if you think about it. Making the same as 4 years ago with an inflated cost of living. So yea Im picking and chooseing on what and where to spend hard earned money's. Of course Anhiser Bush gets thier share and more. Seams I need more Meds lately. Ha ...

But !!!! and I mean a BIG BUTT> Sailing has been a blast racing and playing on a friends boat let alone the solo stuff I do on my boat. Yea that's all been really and I mean really good !! It's getting to summer time in San Diego and well you have to be DEAD not to have fun here. The sun screen is starting to flow and the roller blades are back out. Yeup it's all good I just need a nice fatty Job to drop in my lap !!

Whats up?

Well had some great sailin. Even did a race .... I hate racing pull this pull that !! yea yea.. Stressing at 3 knots.. I find it funny, sailing with stressed out folks sheesssh sailing is in the feeling. I mean you can feel when your boat is moving at it's best .. so shut up and feel it.
Other then that work work work . Not a bad thing not a good thing a necessary thing. No money no honey as the boys from down south say. As you can tell I haven't picked up a camera yet. Na voted for an oil change, bottom cleaning and a killer beer and bbq dinner. The camera will come. But the work is starting to get steady again so it won't be long. Your truly turns 25x2 this month so I'm trying to figure out how to bring in the next chunk of years. I thought I'd be sailing away this year but my house isn't worth as much as it was so looks like a local party is in order.
